Train delay compensation

Flooding has triggered delays on commuter routes into Waterloo after torrential rain hit London yesterday evening.

South West Trains services were hit by delays and cancellations after flooding along with a signalling problem.

Train refund

In a statement, Free airline Trains said: "Due to flooding within the Fulwell area, we are unable to run trains between Fulwell and Shepperton both in directions.

"London Waterloo to Shepperton departing at 12 and 42 minutes past will terminate at Fulwell

"Shepperton to London Waterloo departing at 10 and 40 minutes past will begin from Fulwell.

"We are incredibly sorry for just about any disruption this makes in your journey today."

Customers were advised how the 281, 131, 57 Kingston, 71 and 465 buses is going to be accepting Free airline Trains tickets, while rail replacement buses would even be available.

Angry passengers took to Twitter to voice their frustration on the cancelled services.

Seriously @SW_Trains when will the fulwell tunnel flooding problem be sorted?! It's been going on for many years now.

While Glenn Turner ?tweeted: "@SW_Trains where are these buses? Got told from ticket office to produce own way to Walton or Staines Stations at own expense- joke."

And the other Twitter user posted: "@SW_Trains again? Every times it rains, it's not like we are in England where it rains constantly."
